In the first of our client testimonial videos, we speak to Geoff Kent of Kent Family Nurseries about how the Sherrards team continue to support him and his business.

We asked Geoff Kent, Managing Director of Kent Family Nurseries Ltd to sit down with us and talk about working alongside the teams at Sherrards. Geoff kindly played ball and also left us a glowing review! So, enjoy! Here is Geoff talking about our Corporate, Employment, Immigration, and Commercial property teams who have supported Geoff and his business for coming up to ten years.

“Well, we’re 10 years old this year and we go right back to when we first explored the franchise as a new family business. We got involved with getting advice from Leigh at Sherrards about franchising, franchise agreements, and all the legal aspects of that. 

It was a voyage of discovery back then because we didn’t know too much about it, but he was very helpful, very supportive, and explained everything in a lot of detail, and made us confident with the leap that we made, which has proved to be very successful. 

Well, as with any business, there’s challenges right across the board, and we started with Lee advising us on franchising. He’s since worked with us on a fairly big acquisition for us. We’ve worked with Terry and Steph in the property team, who most recently helped us buy the freehold of one of our businesses, which is a really big thing for us. 

We work with Mark Fellows on employment law, and we work with Melissa, who’s helping us with our challenges on recruiting people from abroad in immigration matters as well. So right across the board, I have to say the expertise and the support has been great from everybody. 

I’d recommend Sherrards for the breadth of their expertise and their support, and the friendly, open, and responsive way that they interact with our business. I would just say, Sherrards, keep up the good work. We really appreciate you as supportive and expert business partners.”
