Stephen is a Partner in our Corporate and Commercial Team based predominantly in our London Office. Stephen advises on a broad range of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, strategic investments, and emerging markets transactions, as well as the full range of commercial legal issues, specialising in the consumer, energy, TMT and financial services sectors.
Before joining us, Stephen was a Partner and Head of the London office of LOGOS Legal Services (Iceland’s premier law firm), after previously working in the London office of two leading US firms Milbank LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
Stephen has built up a detailed understanding of key issues arising in certain foreign jurisdictions, and has a good working knowledge of specialist areas such as banking, FCA regulation, project and debt financing and intellectual property.
His key strengths include building client’s trust on even the most complex transactions, which has seen him take on a variety of additional role including acting as the Head of Legal for Kerecis (Iceland’s first true unicorn), as part of their $1.3 billion sale in 2023.
