Senior solicitor Donna Payne directs play in St Albans

Alongside Radio Verulam and My Mustard, staff members from Sherrards Solicitors are taking part in a performance of The Vagina Monologues, written by Eve Ensler and directed by Sherrards Wills, Trust and Probates Solicitor, Donna Payne.

Part of V Day 2020, February 14th, the event supports a global movement to end violence against women and girls worldwide and all proceeds go to St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge.

V Day events take place worldwide throughout the period between the 1st of February – 8th of March and the award-winning play is based on Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women. The piece celebrates the strength and liberation of countless people throughout the world who have taken control of their bodies and their lives.

The performance will take place on the evening of the 14th February at St Albans Museum and Gallery.

The play has had lots of support locally and was even mentioned on BBC radio 3Counties, with thanks to Frances Pardell, PR who kindly spoke about us on the radio.
